About the Role
Bupa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to provide quality and timely maintenance services across our care home, ensuring facilities are maintained to an exceptional standard that aligns with regulatory requirements and resident preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.
- Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair, and improvement works to the building, grounds, and equipment in-line with the Maintenance Schedules.
- Partake and lead continuous improvement or corrective activities associated with the care home facilities.
- Assist in the development of repair and maintenance budget, monitor the actual utilization of the budget and escalate if there is any over expenditure.
- Document and communicate team and individual performance expectations.
- Manage the work of Maintenance, Cleaning, and Laundry Assistants across the shift in view of dining requirements.
Requirements
- Formal qualifications at post-trade or Advanced Certificate or Associate Diploma level; and/or relevant skills training or experience.
- Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
- The ability to solve problems independently.
