Role Responsibilities

As a VFX Supervisor at DNEG, you will play a pivotal role in our creative process. Your leadership will guide our internal teams, ensuring that the artistic vision of the Director and client is seamlessly integrated with the efforts of supervisors, department heads, artists, and technicians throughout the production lifecycle. Your expertise will be essential in providing on-set VFX supervision during shoots, offering both technical and creative solutions.

Key Qualifications

  • Significant experience in VFX post-production.
  • Previous roles as CG Supervisor or VFX Supervisor on at least 2 to 3 major films.
  • Strong creative vision and aesthetic judgment, with the ability to harmonize elements of light, composition, and motion.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital post-production across all CG/asset and compositing departments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen sense of composition, light, and color.
  • Experience in on-set supervision.
  • Familiarity with production environments, including directing, cinematography, and practical effects.
  • Ability to meet tight production deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience in financial and budget management.
  • Experience working in a global business context across various time zones.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software such as Maya, Houdini, Nuke, and Unreal Engine.
