Job Role:

A Construction Supervisor is required to oversee the on-site construction process, ensuring compliance with client policies and procedures.

  • Manage site operations and EHS requirements for a project portfolio
  • Recommend preventative actions and report incidents and near misses
  • Engage with operational staff to identify high-risk activities and determine EHS support needs
  • Assist with lift studies planning and review
  • Coordinate subcontractors, including site access and work planning
  • Review subcontractor documentation and ensure compliance
  • Perform regular audits and investigations to ensure site compliance
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, industry, and client health, safety, and environment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrate ability to manage uncertainty and balance competing business demands
  • Prepare reports on current contract status and recommendations for improvement
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-starts and toolbox talks
  • Participate in HSE weekly meetings
  • Report safety leading indicators to the client
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety
  • 10+ years of experience in HSE / Construction within the pharmaceutical or similar industry
  • Experience managing multi-cultural teams and workforces
  • Site-based experience
  • Strong technical skills in EHS management and emergency responses
