
Event Experience Coordinator

As a Banquet Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of conferences and events. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee daily banquet operations, guaranteeing efficient event setups and optimal staffing.
With your expertise in managing complex operations, you will lead a team of skilled professionals in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This involves coordinating all conference and event activities, from setup to completion, to meet or exceed customer expectations.
You will also be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing your team through regular feedback and performance reviews. Additionally, you will train staff to meet company standards and comply with all regulations.
Other key responsibilities include participating in Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings to share updates and plan for upcoming events, communicating effectively with guests to ensure their expectations are exceeded, and supporting HR processes, including performance management and development.

- Hold full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
- Possess tertiary qualifications in Hotel Management or a related discipline.
- Have 4+ years' related experience, including banquet operations and F&B supervisory experience.
- Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol NSW Competency Card (RSA).
- Demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
- Be able to carry out multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, think critically, and come up with immediate solutions under pressure.
