Job Opportunity

We are seeking a driven individual to fill the position of Business Development Manager. This role involves establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external financial advisers, licensees, research houses, and other stakeholders in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting and canvassing opportunities to attract employers (new and existing) to select our default fund. They will also work with Senior Manager Business Development to develop strategies and initiatives supporting retention and growth in relationships and membership from these sectors in Western Australia.

  • Develop and implement business plans to increase employer contributions through the growth of the membership base within non-default employers.
  • Work closely with external financial advisers to assist with client/member enquiries or other requests, including member escalations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships: Develop and maintain effective relationships with external financial advisers, licensees, research houses, and other stakeholders in Western Australia.
  • Prospect opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to attract employers to our default fund.
  • Develop strategies: Work with Senior Manager Business Development to develop and implement strategies to support retention and growth in relationships and membership.
  • Assist external financial advisers: Provide assistance and support to external financial advisers with client/member enquiries or other requests, including member escalations.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of financial planning and superannuation.
  • RG146 compliance knowledge.
  • Experience working with financial planners or financial planning practices.
