Housing Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Officer to join our team at Empire Group. As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information on housing services and options.
  • Assess and process applications for social housing and private housing assistance.
  • Manage tenancy arrangements, including allocations, changes of tenancy, and vacancies.
  • Conduct home visits to properties and investigate tenancy disputes and complaints.
  • Manage property maintenance and conduct property inspections.
  • Monitor and manage rent and maintenance arrears.
Requirements:
  • Proven customer service experience, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn additional IT systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
