Maintenance Coordinator Opportunity at Catholic Healthcare

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Villa Maria home in Fortitude Valley. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance services, including breakdown repairs, planned preventative works, and minor project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to residents and staff
  • Provide technical advice and support to staff and residents on maintenance-related matters
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the Residential Manager to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade certificate and experience in maintenance and repair
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring manual labor
  • Current unrestricted Class C NSW Drivers Licence
  • NDIS check or willingness to obtain
