Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our Caloundra Skin Cancer Centre on a Casual basis. The position requires approximately 32 hours per fortnight. Our operating times are Monday – Friday, and candidates must be available to work between 7:30am – 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Managing phone and email queries
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required

Qualifications & Attributes

- Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the healthcare industry or similar is essential
- Previous experience with medical practice software, such as Best Practice, will be highly regarded
- Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
- A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
- Approachable, reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and a positive can-do attitude
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorized to work in Australia
