Medical Receptionist

**Permanent Part-time **32 hours per fortnight** & Casual positions**

**About You**

You will also must meet the following selection criteria:

- Previous experience in medical reception
- Must possess a polite and friendly telephone manner
- Be sensitive to patients’ needs
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a harmonious environment within the team
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to accurately type letters and reports from dictaphone and written notes
- An understanding of Blue Chip (preferred) or similar medical practice package and be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Preferred knowledge of private health funds and Medicare billing
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Works well under pressure

We offer acute inpatient services, neurostimulation services and day programs for adults who require support for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorder and post-traumatic stress - including veteran-specific day programs.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
