About the role:
The Coordinator Training & Complianceindependently develops, coordinates, delivers, assesses and reportson training requirements for clients, employees, partners andsubcontractors in the Employment Portfolio. The coordinator willalso monitor AMES’ ability to comply with the requirements ofthe various Deeds, associated Guidelines and AMES internalpractices. This position works closely with relevant ServiceDelivery Managers and support employees within thePortfolio.
To be considered for this role, you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years’ Employment Services relatedexperience including substantial experience developing anddelivering Employment services training
- Demonstrated understanding of adult training principles,and supporting contract compliance in a businessenvironment
- Detailed (comprehensive / expert) knowledge and applicationof Employment Services Deeds and associated guidelines
- Demonstrated knowledge of staff training identification,reporting, audit practices, standards and methodologyused;
- Outstanding verbal communication skills with the ability todeliver effective training, to be persuasive and gain agreementfrom others
- Demonstrated ability to identify training needs, developlearning initiatives to meet these needs, support businessgoals and add value to the division by way of continuousquality practice improvements
- Excellent digital and computer skills including the abilityto create effective online training resources
- Excellent written communication skills includingdemonstrated ability to analyse, research, interpret andproduce written reports and present findings andrecommendations for the purposes of managementdecision-making
- Demonstrated organisational skills and attention todetail
- Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and takeaccountability for these actions; assist with the process ofmaking decisions without undue delay and commits to appropriateaction
- Ability to foster teamwork, collaboration and respect forothers
- Ability to develop effective internal and externalrelationships to facilitate positive outcomes whilst focussingon continuous improvement
- Understands and acts on the benefits of synergies andcross-divisional co-operation; looks to share criticalinformation and learning for the benefit of theorganisation
- Proven ability to provide innovative solutions andcontinuous improvement ideas
- Demonstrated ability to act in a professional manner at alltimes, and lead and role model positive values of integrity,reliability, teamwork and professionalism and demonstratedcommitment to quality
- A current valid Driver’s Licence will be essentialfor this role.
- Travel between Sites and some interstate travel will berequired for this role
- It is a mandatory requirement for the position holder tohave and maintain a current Working With Children Check (foremployment purposes)
