**Description**:
As the Training and Compliance Coordinator, you are responsible for the oversight, support and coordination of Sydney (and other ports occasionally and by agreement) Training and Compliance. In addition, you will support the preparation, delivery, assessment and evaluation of relevant training programs to employees and feedback to the division recommendations that would benefit the overall training program of Star Aviation.

Training & Assessment
- Oversee, participate and conduct the training program, including initial onboarding of new starter groups, refresher training and new product/client launches.
- Participate in and contribute to the continuous validation and revision of training packages and programs.
- End to end support and supervision of new starters in the completion of mandatory courses as per their Training Plans and course schedules.
- Oversight and delivery of courses in accordance with training packages.
- Accountable for the coordination and escalation of all operations training compliance.
- Ability to travel (by mutual agreement)

Administration
- Maintain accurate employee training records, inclusive of all required reporting metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Training department and wider organisation.
- Maintain oversight of internal and external (client) training systems to ensure compliance.
- Attend meetings and other engagements relevant to training programs, products and promotions.
- Report in to the Monthly Safety Review Meeting with a compliance update for your relevant port(s).
- Strong stakeholder management capability.

Compliance
- Participate and contribute in internal and external audits relevant to training and compliance.
- Undertake Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly compliance assessments relevant to Training.
- Report on Training Compliance, via all applicable systems, on a periodic basis dependant on business requirements.
- Regularly compliance checks across all operational functions
- Oversight and implementation of compliance-based actions as a result of audit or investigation activity.
- Engagement with the Rostering team to ensure a collaborative approach to the compliance of Planned and Published rosters.
- Undertake weekly safety interactions, both aligned to Star Aviation and our Clients.

**Qualifications**:

- End User qualifications for all operations undertaken in port.
- Certificate in Training and Assessment or equivalent relevant Industry experience (desirable).
- Competent in all operational functions and requirements relevant to your port.
- Thorough understanding and experience in the aviation industry.
- Excellent organisation & time management skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Advanced skills for Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly personable and able to communicate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
