About the Role
As a Vendor Management Lead in our Talent and Culture division, you will oversee key relationships with external service providers to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with contractual service levels. This includes managing the vendor lifecycle, covering operational contract management, performance monitoring, compliance with internal policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements, while building strong partnerships to support business outcomes.

What will your day look like?
- Strategic Relationship Management: Developing and nurturing productive, long-term partnerships with key vendor/s. Act as ANZ’s trusted advisor on vendor matters, liaising between vendors and internal stakeholders (Procurement, Risk, Legal, and Talent & Culture teams) to align vendor services with business needs.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to contractual terms and ANZ governance frameworks and policies related to third parties, contract management and outsourcing.
- Performance Oversight: Monitoring vendor performance, conducting reviews, and managing service levels to ensure they meet contractual objectives and internal standards.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with vendors, including compliance issues and potential disruptions to the service delivery.
- Internal Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional discussions on vendor performance, contract changes, or new vendor needs, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Value Maximisation: Identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the vendor relationship to drive business value.
What will you bring?
- Expertise in contract management and performance monitoring.
- Previous experience as a Vendor Manager or similar within professional/financial services environment. Experience with Business Process Outsourcing vendors is an advantage.
- Strategic thinking to build long-term vendor partnerships and internal relationships
- A sound knowledge of third party risk, including risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Refined stakeholder management capabilities.
- Interest and experience in coaching and developing peers.
- The ability to lead and adapt to change.
