In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing our IT vendor ecosystem, software procurement, and cost optimization initiatives across cloud and SaaS platforms.You’ll lead a small team and work cross-functionally across Reecetech to manage IT contracts, improve spend visibility, and optimize software usage. Your expertise in vendor negotiations, software lifecycle management, and cloud cost control will be key to helping us scale efficiently and sustainably.**What You’ll Do*** Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, renewals, and performance tracking.* Oversee the lifecycle of IT contracts and software licenses, ensuring compliance and budget adherence.* Drive cloud and SaaS cost optimization by collaborating with engineering and finance teams.* Maintain an accurate inventory of software assets, renewals, and licensing compliance.* Define and continuously improve IT procurement policies and workflows.* Use data to identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, cost savings, and operational efficiency.* Lead and mentor a small team, fostering growth and alignment with business goals.* Support procurement and finance teams with reporting, analysis, and insights on IT spend.* Skills and Experience* 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management, software procurement, or contract negotiation.* 2+ years of leadership experience managing or mentoring small teams.* Proven track record in cloud and SaaS cost optimization.* Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and tools like CloudHealth or FinOps.* Familiarity with SaaS management and software asset tools (e.g., G2 Track, Zylo).* Deep knowledge of licensing models, software contracts, and procurement processes.* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.* Bonus points for certifications like ITIL, Procurement, or Cloud Management.* Impact: Shape the future of how we manage software, scale cloud infrastructure, and drive operational efficiency.* Growth: Access learning opportunities and career development in a high-performing, tech-forward environment.* Culture: Join a team that values transparency, humility, and continuous learning.* Location: Work from our modern, tech-driven office in Cremorne, Melbourne.* Flexibility: this is a part time positionReece is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
