Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Melbourne, VIC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Contract Duration: Until 31 March 2026 (with potential for 2 x 6-month extensions)

Security Clearance: Must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance (NV1 preferred)

About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Managers to join a Data & Digital Delivery Enablement Program.

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of a diverse range of infrastructure projects. This includes projects across data center, network, cloud, and security technologies. You'll be working in a complex, high-availability environment with multiple dependencies and integrations, managing the full project lifecycle from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver projects using a PRINCE2-based framework and apply principles from Agile, ITIL, and ADKAR.

- Develop and manage project schedules, documentation, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.

- Coordinate project resources to ensure the timely delivery of all project phases, including design, build, testing, and implementation.

- Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders throughout the delivery process.

- Oversee the procurement of hardware and software, ensuring a smooth transition to operations.

- Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across delivery teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

- Proven experience delivering complex ICT or infrastructure projects in large, multi-vendor environments.

- A strong understanding of data center, cloud, networking, and security technologies.

- Certification in one or more project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile).

- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing partners.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Jira in enterprise settings.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Highly Desirable:

- Experience with data center relocations or new site implementations.

- Familiarity with Federal Government frameworks, procurement, and governance processes.
