The role
As a Key Account Manager, you will focus on servicing our salesbase for heat pump and gas products in hot water and pool heating.Based in our Loganlea office, your role involves maintaining andsupporting relationships with existing distributors whileidentifying and cultivating new accounts across Queensland. Youwill be the key direct sales contact, responsible for designing andexecuting effective communication strategies to positively positionRheem products in the market.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support relationships with existingdistributors
- Achieve growth in the distribution network by identifyingand cultivating new accounts
- Act as the key direct sales contact for targetedaccounts
- Design and execute communication strategies for positivemarket positioning
- Conduct direct representation via agreed call plans toindividual targets
- Engage in discussions with decision-makers and specifierson sales, contractual, technical, and application levels
- Provide high-quality written and verbal presentations ofproject characteristics and product solutions
- Track all sales-related contacts, leads, and referralsusing CRM software
- Contribute to the Marketing Plan, particularly theDistribution Plan
- Provide market intelligence on competitor activity,pricing, and market feedback
- Offer timely and accurate design and application advice tocustomers
- Train trade distributors, industry suppliers, andconsultants in Rheem products
- Exhibit products at trade exhibitions to maintain a highbrand profile
About you
To be successful in this role you will have;
- Engineering or Technical field experience or a tradequalification.
- Experience in a Technical Sales role within the HVAC, hotwater or swimming pool industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills on bothcommercial and technical matters
