Cairns, Australia ClearCompany Full time

Join our client at a pivotal time in their journey — as they prepare to launch a breakthrough treatment in haematology that has the potential to transform patient outcomes and redefine standards of care.

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Key Account Manager to drive partnerships that unlock value across the haematology ecosystem — from diagnosis to treatment and long-term patient support.

About the Role:

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be the strategic connector between our client organisation and the haematology community. You’ll work alongside clinicians, hospital networks, researchers, and patient advocacy groups to co-create meaningful solutions that improve patient care and access to innovation.

This role sits at the forefront of a major product launch — blending scientific excellence with strategic account management to ensure that every step of the patient journey is supported, understood, and optimised.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the launch of an innovative haematology therapy, building awareness, trust, and collaboration across key treatment centres.
- Develop and execute tailored engagement strategies with haematologists, nurses, pharmacists, and healthcare administrators.
- Build trusted partnerships with external stakeholders to understand evolving needs, identify access barriers, and co-design solutions that enhance patient outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of launch plans and post-launch support.
- Act as the central point of collaboration between external partners and internal teams, bringing insights “from the outside in” and sharing scientific and clinical knowledge “from the inside out.”
- Champion responsible and compliant use of the product, supporting education and quality use of medicines initiatives.
- Use data, digital tools, and agile ways of working to deliver impact and continuously improve performance.

Experience:

We are looking for a self-driven and collaborative professional who combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of healthcare dynamics.

You will have:

- Proven experience in Key Account Management, Product Launch, or Specialist Sales within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong understanding of haematology, oncology, or other specialty disease areas.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and deliver on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Commercial and strategic acumen — able to identify opportunities and translate insights into action.
- Sound knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and compliance frameworks.
- A proactive, learning-oriented mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and change

Preferred:

- Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related degree (advanced qualifications such as MBA or postgraduate studies in life sciences are highly regarded).
- Experience with digital engagement tools or innovative partnership models.

Who You Are:

You are motivated by purpose — driven to make a tangible difference for patients and clinicians. You thrive on collaboration, think strategically, and bring a blend of curiosity, empathy, and courage to everything you do.

You act with integrity and accountability, knowing when to push boundaries and when to pause, always focused on creating shared value for the community and the organisation.

Why Join?

- Be part of a major new product launch that will shape the future of haematology care in Australia.
- Work in an empowered, agile environment where ideas are valued and innovation is encouraged.
- Collaborate with leading experts across the healthcare ecosystem and global network.
- Make an impact that matters — helping patients access life-changing therapies sooner.

Some interstate travel may be required.

Ready to lead the launch of a breakthrough therapy in haematology? Join as a Key Account Manager and help create a healthier future — one partnership at a time.
