Job Description
This role sits in the Health and Compliance Services branch and is responsible for administering the City's infringement processes, performing administrative and clerical duties and providing quality customer service.
The key responsibilities of this role are to:
- Prepare correspondence and reports as required
- Collate and compile statistical information
- Assist with reconciliation of the infringement database
- Ensure all corporate documents are processed through the City's records keeping system
- Process parking permit applications
- Maintain private property parking register contracts
- Manage and administer the impounded vehicles records and processes
- Respond to litter complaints
- Respond to phone and customer service counter enquiries and complaints
- Liaise and provide advice to internal and external customers on relevant acts and local laws
- Process infringements as per procedure
- Conduct Department of Transport searches to obtain vehicle owner details
- Respond to infringement appeals
- Complete infringement withdrawals from Authority and the Fines Enforcement Registry
- Conduct any other duties as assigned as reasonably related to the position
- Well developed customer service and communication skills.
- Sound interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to participate within a team environment.
- Experience in a similar administrative role.
- Basic ability to interpret the relevant acts and legislation, and associated technical documents
Salary package:
In line with theCity of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025,this position is classified as a Level 4 and the salary range is$74,220.64 to $84,667.44 per annum, exclusive of superannuation.
