Overview
Join our team of Frontline Rostering Officers and ensure our disability operations run smoothly. This is a contract role in Seven Hills, onsite from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Purpose of the Frontline Rostering Officer role
As Frontline Rostering Officer at Achieve Australia, your primary goal is to create and maintain rosters for several of our sites. This is a key role to ensuring our disability support services run efficiently. This role is based at our Seven Hills site and is required to work onsite from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Role Responsibilities
- Create and manage Master Rosters and coordinate day-to-day rostering requirements across sites.
- Direct and allocate resources as directed by the operation managers, ensuring business processes are followed and exceptions managed.
- Escalate any shifts that are unable to be filled and/or service issues within appropriate time frames and procedures.
- Ensure the information in Rostering System is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Work closely with Service Managers to optimise workforce planning and cost effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- Rostering / scheduling / workforce planning experience.
- Knowledge of rostering systems, HR practices and award principles.
- Knowledge and application of Workforce Management Software systems, reporting capabilities, management of queues and activity routing/overflow.
- Ability to build and maintain trust and confidence of stakeholders through building rapport, consistent performance and delivering on services.
- Demonstrated customer focused communication skills incorporating courtesy, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
- Advanced computer literacy e.g., MS Office and Excel.
