Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to lead multiple manufacturing sites across Queensland. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape operations, drive efficiency, and build high-performing teams in a dynamic and growing business.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Queensland sites, ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, production, and cost. You will lead initiatives to optimise processes, manage budgets and resources, and support capital investment decisions that drive long-term business success. Working closely with the leadership team, you will help shape strategies to support growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes.

- Lead and develop teams to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality operations across manufacturing sites, championing a culture where safety is a core value.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, optimise processes, and improve productivity, ensuring operational changes always prioritise employee and workplace safety.
- Manage operational budgets, capital projects, and resources to meet financial and performance targets while maintaining safe working conditions.
- Foster a positive and engaged culture, supporting employee development, succession planning, retention, and a strong commitment to safety.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement strategies balancing cost, quality, customer service, and safety excellence.

About You

- Proven experience managing multi-site or large manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities with experience driving cultural change.
- Demonstrated success in achieving operational, financial, and safety outcomes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate plans into measurable results.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of leading in a fast-paced, complex environment.
