The Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Coolaroo manufacturing facility. Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Lead site health, safety, and environmental compliance to ensure a safe workplace
- Manage and coordinate the entire manufacturing process to meet volume, productivity, and quality targets
- Oversee budgeting and cost management, ensuring financial performance aligns with company goals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring effective HR and industrial relations management
- Ensure quality assurance and technical compliance, working closely with stakeholders to maintain high standards

What You’ll Bring

- Strong leadership and management experience in manufacturing operations
- Proven ability to drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Solid knowledge of HSE regulations, production processes, and cost management
- Experience handling industrial relations and HR matters
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
