Powertech is an Electrical Engineering Services Provider delivering HV/LV & E&I engineering, installation, commissioning, testing and operations and maintenance services to our clients in the Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas, Energy & Utilities, Refineries & Infrastructure, Defence, Renewable Energy, Ports & Rail Sectors across Australia, and SE Asia.

Due to a consistent rate of company growth, which is paving the way for further expansion into local markets, we currently have a requirement for aProject Administrator to join us on a full-time basis in our Perth, Malaga based office.

Reporting to the Administration Lead, Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Execute assigned projects diligently, effectively, professionally and within agreed timeframes.
- Liaising with Project Manager/Leads on the administration requirements for projects ensuring that our systems are correctly set up from quote to final invoicing and close out.
- Attending to customer queries and requests while ensuring the clients requirements are met.
- Approving project time and expenses.
- Maintaining various registers, spreadsheets, and documents appropriate for each Project.
- Ensuring all project documentation is correctly filed and accessible.
- Ensuring project documentation are maintained for all monthly reporting.
- Maintaining training and competency records.
- Ensuring all resource scheduling is current and accurate.
- Maintaining various registers and spreadsheets appropriate for each Project.
- Accurate and on time client invoicing and diligence with following up on aged receivables.
- Purchasing materials for internal and external projects including raising purchase orders.
- Utilising operations support to ensure smooth operations within the projects you are administrating.
- Assist with administering all personnel site requirements including inductions, travel, training, medicals, and client documentation/systems.
- Any other Adhoc tasks as advised by the Administration Lead.

What you’ll bring to the team:

- Cert III, Cert IV, Diploma in Business Administration or similar.
- Proactive & well organised.
- Excellent written and verbal skills are essential.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), as well as a willingness to learn our in-house software system and work with this daily.
- Strong Administration background will be viewed favourably.
- Worked with an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Pronto etc.) desirable.
- Previous experience in a busy administrative and operational support role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
- A practical and well organised approach with a proven ability to multitask.
- Competent to work in a high-pressure environment.
