Position Information: Willoughby Girls High School (enrolment 1020 students, including 66% students from a language background other than English and three support classes) is recognised as a leader in girls’ education with a strong reputation for academic excellence. Specific Selection Criteria

- Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria,
- Demonstrated capacity in educational leadership, including the ability to support and guide both experienced and early career teachers through curriculum reform processes by fostering a collaborative and inclusive professional environment.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing high-quality, evidence-based teaching, learning, and assessment practices that enhance student engagement and achievement across all courses offered in the PDHPE faculty whilst aligning to the School Excellence Plan.
- Highly responsive leadership, demonstrated through exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, to actively engage staff, students, parents, and the broader community in collaborative strategies that foster a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
- Proven commitment to student wellbeing and engagement through fostering an inclusive environment and implementing strategies that support the diverse needs of learners, including actively promoting and supporting girls’ participation in sport.

General Selection Criteria

1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department/'s Aboriginal education policy
