The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board) of South Australia’s primary role is the provision of the SACE to government, non-government and international schools.

The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board

The Digital Communications Coordinator is accountable to the Team Leader, Strategic Communications and Digital for providing strategic advice and managing the SACE Board’s digital presence to support effective communication with stakeholders and the achievement of the SACE Board’s Strategic Plan.

What you will BRING

- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop digital communications channels including website, e-comms, social media.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital communications strategies, creating/coordinating engaging content.
- Experience with tracking digital analytics, and reporting on performance to achieve goals.
- Knowledge of contemporary digital communications practices.
- Solution-oriented mindset and proven ability to address challenges and solve problems that require a high level of critical thinking, creativity and resourcefulness.
- Ability to influence staff, including managers and leaders, to adopt strategic and effective communications practices.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to determine priorities, meet tight deadlines and produce high standard work under pressure.

Qualifications

Appropriate tertiary qualification in communications, digital marketing, multimedia or other relevant disciplines (or equivalent experience) is desirable.

Special Conditions

- Some out-of-hours work.
- Intrastate travel to regional and remote locations / interstate travel may be required.
- A current driver’s licence is desirable.
- The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.
- An intense time of activity within the SACE Board of South Australia occurs between October and December. For some roles, the incumbent would not normally be able to take planned leave during this period.
- Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services and in accordance with the SACE Board policy.

Remuneration

ASO6 classification level. Salary range $97,022 - $102,626 per annum plus superannuation.

This is a maternity leave cover term vacancy for 16 months.
