Your role
As the Senior Project Officer, Writing Australia, you willprovide high level planning and delivery support for projects and programs thatcontribute to the strategic objectives of Writing Australia.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting theend-to-end delivery of new and existing investment programs, including butnot limited to international projects, Prime Minister’s Literary Awardsand the National Poet Laureate.
- Coordinating and supporting the preparation of Writing AustraliaCouncil meetings, ensuring agendas and briefing materials are accurate anddelivered on time.
- Collaborating with adiverse range of stakeholders to achieve key project outcomes whileidentifying and responding to opportunities and challenges in the sectorto shape program development and delivery.
- Working with theMulti-Year Investment, Investment Analysis, and relevant teams to gatherand analyse information on literature investments made by CreativeAustralia, state and territory governments.
- Overseeing the administration of Writing Australia projects andprograms, including payments, travel and logistics, expenditure monitoringand reporting.
- Drafting project plans, proposals, briefings, and reports to supportWriting Australia programs and initiatives.
- Undertaking scoping, planning and refinement for future projects andprograms and providing the Director Writing Australia with riskidentification and recommendations to inform effective decisionmaking.

- Salary of $86,578 per annum + 15.4% superannuation
- Hybrid work arrangement (two days’ work from home and three days onsite)
