About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Psychologist to join our dedicated Eating Disorder Inpatient Program at Ramsay Clinic Hollywood.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based psychological care to patients within our inpatient program.
You will facilitate group therapy, individual reviews and contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the program. While this position is primarily based in the Eating Disorder Inpatient Program, there may be opportunity to contribute to outpatient programs or other specialty areas depending on your expertise and interests.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring clinical experience in psychological as intervention, preferably within a hospital or specialist mental health setting. You will have a passion for evidence‑based treatment, a commitment to recovery‑oriented care, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals experiencing eating disorders.
- Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Clinical endorsement highly desirable).
- Experience delivering psychological assessments and interventions with individuals experiencing complex mental health conditions, preferably eating disorders.
- Demonstrated skills in group therapy facilitation and psychoeducation.
- Knowledge and experience in evidence‑based therapy models (e.g., CBT‑E, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, IPT).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
- Willingness to contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement.
- AHPRA Approved Supervisor (Board‑Approved Supervisor status).
- Recent experience in an inpatient or day patient mental health setting.
- Training and experience in specialised therapy models relevant to eating disorders and associated comorbidities.
