This is a Permanent Part Time 0.4FTE appointment at 30.4 hours per fortnight.
Position Profile
The Child and Adolescent Health Service seeks an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join the Child Development Service, specialising in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will provide specialized assessment and consultation services for children with Autism and other complex mental health and psychological disorders. The role includes offering expert supervision, education and clinical consultation to promote best practice in developmental psychology. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in case discussions and contribute to service development initiatives that improve care pathways and outcomes. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the wellbeing of children and families through expert, compassionate and evidence-driven psychological care.
About the Child Development Service: The Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infants, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact function, participation and/or the parent-child relationship.
Clinicians adopt a child and family‑centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to the family.
Our teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals.
The Child Development Service provides services at approximately 18 locations across the metropolitan Perth area, as well as providing home, school and community visits as needed.
