An exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Policy Officer has come about at the Legal Practice Board (Board). There is currently one fixed term (9 months with the possibility for extension) full time vacancy to be filled from this recruitment process.

The Board is a statutory body responsible for the regulation of legal services in Western Australia and all Western Australian legal practitioners. The Board aims to be a leader in regulation and works with its stakeholders to ensure an engaged, active, competent, and ethical legal profession.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, the Human Resources Policy Officer will be responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing the Board’s Human Resources (HR) Policy Framework, including the development of a full suite of policies, procedures and related documentation, roll out of training and associated change management activities, and development of resources to support ongoing administration of the Framework.

This is an exciting opportunity to own a high priority strategic deliverable, work largely autonomously to deadlines, and deliver a best practice suite of policy documents aligned with WA public sector standards, legislation and instruments.
