As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales Account Manager to join our team.

About the role

In this newly created role, we are seeking someone who is experienced selling within the Print and Mail industry. Someone who is resilient, personable, highly motivated, dynamic and a results driven Sales professional to join our sales team based in Dandenong South VIC.

This is a full-time role for a Sales Account Manager.

This role is pivotal in expanding our client base and exploring new market sectors, driving sales growth and strengthening client relationships.

Initially the role will be new business as you start building your own client base and as you grow in the role more time is spent maintaining and growing your clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Plan approaches and pitches for new business through positive engagement. Connecting and collaborating with experienced team members.
- Create new business through cold calling.
- End-to-End Management of client work, until we can grow the team further.
- Operational reporting, Monthly reporting on sales vs budget, and forecasting sales.
- Ability to work within a team or autonomously depending on the circumstances.
- Client Account Management on new business wins.
- Maintaining and updating the CRM system.
- Assist with tendering on new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Strategic Growth - Build strong relationships at multiple levels within new clients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and drive long-term partnerships.
- Developing growth strategies and proactively identify client needs and opportunities to enhance their experience, while contributing to the company's overall growth strategy.
- Maintaining a strong sales pipeline, by prospecting potential new customers, working your active customers and new business wins.
- Monitor and report on sales performance against targets.
- Set and manage client expectations to ensure smooth project execution and excellent customer service.
- Effectively communicate with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their enquiries.
- Track and report on account performance and activities.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation.
- Quality Control & Execution.
- Maintain a strong on-the-road presence, throughout the Melbourne metro area.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills – you can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail throughout.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Results-oriented with a passion for exceeding client expectations.
- Work closely with internal teams (customer service, production, leadership) to drive success.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, and delivering cost-effective solutions that drive client and business value.
- Proven success in achieving and exceeding new business / sales targets.
- Previous experience in the Print and Mailing Industries.
- A strong ability to sell services and solutions, not just products.
- Experience in both managing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Proven experience in being able to present sales pitches and presentations to client stakeholders, showcasing your clear and strong negotiation skills.
- Ideally tertiary qualifications and/or certifications in IT/Sales or relevant qualifications/industry knowledge.

This role is critical in driving the company’s growth. The Sales Account Manager will be expected to meet sales targets, cultivate long-term client relationships, and contribute to the company’s overall success.
