This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and passionate Administration Team Leader to help shape the future of this cutting-edge facility.

About the Role

As the Administration Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our new Gamma Knife centre. You’ll lead a small, dedicated team, ensuring smooth patient journeys, accurate records, and efficient billing processes. This role offers the chance to build a high-performing team from the ground up, with full support from our Site Manager and national network.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and support the Radiation Oncology Administration team.

- Coordinate patient appointments and reception services.

- Ensure accurate medical records and uphold privacy standards.

- Process Medicare and private billing, including MBS item numbers relevant to Gamma Knife and stereotactic procedures.

- Provide training and development opportunities for admin staff.

- Foster a compassionate and professional environment for patients and families.

- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

About You

You’re a proactive and organised leader with a passion for healthcare administration. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy mentoring others, and are committed to delivering exceptional patient service. Experience in radiation oncology or high-care medical settings is highly regarded.

Skills & Experience

- Experience leading a team in a healthcare environment (preferred).

- Strong understanding of medical billing and Medicare guidelines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and work autonomously.

- A passion for continuous improvement and team development.
