**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Foster continuous learning within the team by coaching others, and seeking to develop advanced technical expertise, pursuing professional development and leadership skills.
- Mentor team members to facilitate successful succession plans.
- Arrange weekly roster of tasks for the team and ensure all daily tasks on roster are covered if team member is unable to work due to illness or unplanned leave.
- Participate (where required) in any projects or ad hoc tasks requested by FPaCS leadership.
- Provide administrative support to the teams within FPaCS at Coronial and Public Health Sciences, Coopers Plains.
- Lead, influence, and drive staff to embrace the opportunities of change within the organisation by leading change management and project management activities.
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve operational issues and risks, considering the impact across the service.
- Represent Administration Services at various committees, meetings and working groups relevant to administration functions.

**Key Competencies**:
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following
- Demonstrated ability to assist in leading and managing a team in a high performing environment, including leading implementation of key aspects of a Human Resource Management framework such as recruitment, performance management and performance planning for staff.
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills including the ability to liaise, advise and interact with all level of management, staff and stakeholders.
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, vendors and corporate divisions stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level of autonomy and flexibility in response to change and support the workforce to embrace new expectations through clarity of the intended outcomes.
- High attention to detail with experience in quality checking own and others work to ensure accuracy, procedures are followed, and a high level of quality is maintained.
- Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
