About the role
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of a variety of capital and operating projects. Reporting to the Team Leader of the Project Management Team, this individual will lead a team of specialists to ensure effective delivery of capital works and environmental projects in alignment with the Central Coast Council’s Operational Plan and Project Management Framework.
This position demands a commitment to providing quality customer service, while creating value for the community through effective project, contract and stakeholder management.
Ideal Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement effective project plans and budgets.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
Benefits & Extras
- The commencing salary is up to $106.6K, with progression opportunities up to $123.5K, plus 12% superannuation, 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance, and Quarterly Vehicle Allowance.
- Permanent full‑time role, 9 day fortnight, hybrid working (2 days home, 3 days onsite).
- Location: Wyong Administration Building.
