About the Role

We are on the lookout for a talented Chef to join our team at Kost Bar & Grill. You’ll be a key leader within the kitchen, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and consistently high standards. In this role you will:

- Support in leading kitchen operations from procurement and prep through to service and quality control.
- Oversee and mentor junior chefs, fostering a positive and high-performing kitchen culture.
- Assist with menu development, ensuring on-trend, seasonal and relevant dishes are delivered to guests.
- Maintain compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
- Contribute to operational efficiency through stock control, ordering, and supplier management.
- Help drive innovation and growth by supporting new ideas and delivering on concepts.

About You

You are an experienced, passionate chef who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments. With strong technical skills and a genuine love for food, you’ll bring creativity, leadership, and a calm head under pressure. You’ll also be:

- Experienced at a Sous Chef level (or strong Senior CDP stepping up) in a quality-driven venue.
- Confident in leading and training kitchen staff, with strong people and time management skills.
- A good communicator with a collaborative attitude and a genuine team focus.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to consistently high food standards.
- Well-presented, with pride in hygiene and professionalism at all times.
