We have an opportunity for an experienced, focused & passionate Sous Chef to join the team.

Our Venue

Local Flow Ba Vigo is a modern Mediterranean style eatery in the heart of Cottontree, stablished over 20yrs.

Our menu reflects a modern take on the classics of Mediterranean cuisine, from small tapas plates to Spanish Pizzas & larger plates.

Your Role

The Sous Chef role encompasses all aspects of the kitchen with a focus on team leadership, strong culinary skills and a commitment to high standards of quality.

As Sous Chef you would play a key role in providing outstanding customer experiences, leading a team with a focus on consistency & a passion for great food.

Work closely with the Head Chef on the day to day operations of the kitchen

Contribute to menu development, overseeing specials and presentation.

Preparation of dishes, from Tapas to Mains, Desserts & Spanish Pizzas, with a focus on consistency.

Leading a young experienced team through great communication, professionalism & maintaining a positive team environment.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 yrs experience as Sous Chef or Head CDP in fast paced a la carte

Must have excellent culinary skills, a passion for great food and an understanding of Mediterranean cuisines

Excellent communication and team leading abilities

Good time management and problem solving abilities

The ability to maintain and execute high standards of consitency in food presentation, flavours and an attention to detail

A passion for our industry, great food, good wine and positive customer experiences
