La Playa is located in the heart of Surfers Paradise within Paradise Centers new $40 million beachfront development.
We are seeking talented | experienced Chefs for the following roles:
- Sous Chef: Salaried position [negotiable]
- Prep Chef: 4.30am - 12pm [Mon-Fri]
- Breakfast Chef: 7.30am-12pm [Mon-Sun]
Our offering is a mix of modern Australian & Mediterranean food, focusing on quality fresh ingredients, loads of flavour and great presentation.
To be successful all applicants must have demonstrable experience with a proven track record to be considered for the roles and should also have the following skills:
- A confident and creative cooking style with a dedication to quality, presentation, and consistency.
- The ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment.
- Planning & organizational skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Efficient & works clean.
- Working as a strong team member with an emphasis on helping all members of the kitchen when needed.
- Follow and adhere to recipes consistently.
- Knowledge and adherence to all OHS & Food Safety requirements.
