Reporting to the Operations Supervisor- IM, this frontline position enables the company to deliver best-practice clinical services that are efficient and financially responsible to our clients. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for key functions including intake, scoping, and resourcing of all incident management requests. The coordinator requires high-level skills across communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detailed scoping of acute-care environments, crisis situations, and complex disaster events.
- Providing clinically appropriate, strategic, and cost-effective allocation and coordination of clinical providers for all incident management requests.
- Ensuring end-to-end excellence in the provision of product services and logistics.
- Coordinating intake, assessment, and resource allocation functions for Incident Management services.
- Managing administrative functions of incident management service delivery.
- Delivering high standards of communication and information gathering of sensitive customer needs.
- Completing initial assessments of request type and urgency, and coordinating the assignment of qualified service providers.
- Working quickly and carefully to meet contractual service obligations with an acute level of attention.
- Managing multiple urgent requests, demonstrating the capability to prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrating sensitivity, professionalism, and empathy in crisis situations.
- Coordinating and directing internal stakeholders within TELUS Health with service inquiries.
