Responsibilities
Join the Department for Energy and Mining (DEM) as a Project Officer, Information and Records, where you/'ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with South Australian records management legislation and policies. This dynamic, newly created position involves working on records-related projects, delivering expert advice and training, and supporting the development of innovative records management solutions. You/'ll work across the department to promote best practices in records handling, including access, storage, sentencing, and disposal of both physical and electronic records.

Key Selection Criteria

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in records management projects, including research, analysis, reporting, and training development.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
- High-level knowledge of records management legislation and systems (e.g. Content Manager), with expertise in providing advice and training.
Remuneration
ASO4 salary range $76,561 - $80,256 per annum + superannuation. Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
Special Conditions
- This is a contract/term vacancy up to 12 months
- Due to the nature of the work involved, this position is wholly office based
