The Department for Infrastructure and Transport delivers expert planning policy, efficient transport and valuable social economic infrastructure to the South Australian community that enhances the lifestyle of South Australians every day.

**The Opportunity**
The Planning and Technical Services Directorate is part of the Transport Strategy and Planning Division and is accountable for the provision of technical standards, technical procurement and contractual requirements and specifications which results in whole of life functional, sustainable outcomes and benefits across the Department.

The Procurement and Design section drives innovation and provides technical advice to all Divisions across the project lifecycle, including management of engineering & design and informing priorities for forward planning.

The Project Support Officer provides document control services as a key element of the quality control process, supporting transport and infrastructure projects. The incumbent will undertake a range of activities to ensure that records are appropriately and accurately received, transmitted and stored in accordance with document control procedures.

**About You**

The successful applicant will be a self-starter who can work independently with mínimal supervision, demonstrating sound analytical and research skills to evaluate information, provide strategic advice, and produce clear, concise reports and correspondence. A commitment to accuracy and the ability to manage high volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines are crucial.

**Technical Capabilities**
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Visio.
- Relevant experience in a Document Control or Project Administration role.
- Experience in the use of Document Management Systems highly regarded
- Experience in the procurement and contract management of a broad range of multidisciplinary professional and technical services or similar would be highly regarded.

**Special Conditions**
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Remuneration**
ASO4 - $76,561 to $80,256 per annum
