About the Role

We are looking for a Support Coordinators to work within our Housing First team. The role is responsible for facilitating case management and support interventions to assist clients in their quality of life including health, independence and housing. Support interventions and case management are from a psychosocial and individualised perspective.

This is a fixed term full time position, working 38 hours per week between Monday to Friday. The position is due to expire on 30/06/2027.

What we’re looking for

The successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:

- Relevant qualifications in a related discipline at degree, diploma, or certificate level/less formal qualification with work or lived experience to perform sufficiently at this level/or demonstrated work experience at the level.
- Personal goal planning skills that contribute to the achievement of client goals in line with the Model of Care.
- Skills in reflective practice and highly developed report writing using analytical reasoning.
- Ability to support, mentor and work alongside supporting staff members.
- Advanced computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and client reporting system.
- Ability to engage and maintain professional relationships with clients, and their wider formal and informal supports, with multiple needs and challenges.
- Demonstrated understanding of complex issues facing people who experience chaotic life circumstances such as homelessness, AOD use, family/domestic violence and mental health issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of diversity, gender and social inclusion, particularly Aboriginal culture.
- Willingness and ability to work within and contribute to the vision, mission, core values and the guiding principles of the organisation.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Housing First principles will be highly regarded.

- A salary aligned with Level 4 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award), starting at $88,372.
