About the Role
As a Receptionist, you’ll be the warm, welcoming first impression of Marshall White Hawthorn. You’ll manage the front desk, greet clients and visitors, handle phone enquiries, provide sales administration support, and ensure seamless day-to-day office operations. This role is ideal for a driven professional committed to exceptional customer service and eager for career growth with Melbourne’s most respected luxury real estate brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a polished, approachable manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls.
- Schedule and manage staff appointments, meetings, and boardroom bookings.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of office common areas and reception.
- Assist with a broad range of administrative tasks to support our agents and property management team.
- Maintain office supplies and inventory, coordinating orders when needed.
- Provide information about the Marshall White brand and our services to clients and visitors.
- Support other departments with ad-hoc administration as required.
Skills, Experience & Qualities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Professional presentation and the ability to pleasantly represent a luxury brand.
- Customer service-focused with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Confident working independently and collaboratively within a wider team.
- Solutions-driven problem-solver, able to handle challenges tactfully.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administration, or customer-facing role is highly regarded.
