Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be working towards the development of business strategies for key accounts in Townsville, Mackay and Cairns area.
This role reports directly to the Sales Manager. Travel to Mackay, Cairns, Mt Isa, Tablelands will be required.
About the role:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to maintain existing business and developing new business.
- A hunter mentality Researching and identifying new prospects and sales opportunities.
- Developing and establishing key accounts within the customer base.
- Establishing senior level relationships with the customer types stated above to understand the business driving factors.
- Following a sales process to effectively qualify, develop, and close customer opportunities.
- Collaborating with both local and national teams to ensure that effective resources are allocated to opportunities.
- Ability to travel 1 week out of the month to various regional areas in Central & North QLD
Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
- 5+ years sales experience within the Industrial Automation / Electrical sector
- Self-motivated, proactive and sales focused
- A collaborative team player
- A sound communicator, possessing strong written communication and presentation skills
- A sales professional with a strong sales process
- Experienced in developing and executing sales strategies to build a strong sales pipeline
- A consultative selling approach
- A strong ability in solution selling
