As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing business strategies to maintain existing customers and acquire new ones in Townsville, Mackay, and Cairns area.
This role reports directly to the Sales Manager. You will be required to travel to various regional areas in Central & North QLD, building strong relationships with key accounts and identifying new sales opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to grow our customer base.
- Researching and identifying new prospects and sales opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at our target companies.
- Collaborating with local and national teams to ensure effective resources are allocated to opportunities.
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, preferably within the Industrial Automation or Electrical sector.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies to build a strong pipeline.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A consultative selling approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
