Our Vanguard Luxury Brands team are recruiting for a Sales Executive to sell some of the most exciting brands in the Australian and International spirits market. This includes iconic brands such as Fortaleza Tequila, Fuji Whiskey and the iconic Four Pillars Gin range. This exciting role will service Melbourne’s southeast suburbs with a balance of retail and on-premise customers. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to go permanent. It’s an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door, grow your sales career and gain experience within a supportive and inclusive organisation.
What does a day in the life of a Vanguard Sales Executive look like?
- You will work with our established customers, creating innovative strategies that range from account planning to in-store merchandising and promotional execution, with the goal of getting more of our brands into consumers’ hands
- You will travel to our customers’ sites to fully engage and get to know their needs to service and best support them
- You will be an absolute brand and company advocate – delivering growth through on-point brand execution
- Work with and collaborate effectively as a part of the wider Sales and Marketing Team
- Always be on the hunt for potential growth and development opportunities within current and new customers.
What are we looking for?
- A customer and consumer-obsessed individual, you’ll be motivated to build strong customer partnerships
- You will have sales experience in the fast-moving consumer goods or alcoholic beverages industry (spirits experience would be an advantage) – you are motivated by sales and have a drive for results
- A proactive attitude and the courage to pursue new business opportunities. You should be comfortable with actively seeking out prospects and embracing each day with unwavering enthusiasm.
- Accountability: you keep your promises and deliver on your commitments
- A full, clean driver’s licence and ongoing working rights in Australia.
