The Company

For a long time, our client has, and continues to be, one of Australia’s leading manufacturing businesses. Their brand is trusted through a long track record of quality products and service with their name attached to building and construction projects nationwide. They have an exciting opportunity for a sales leader to drive growth across tier 2&3 construction companies and large residential building groups, working across a 14 branch network with revenue in excess of $200m.

The Role

Reporting to the State Manager, the Sales Manager will drive profitable growth through new business and customer development & customer management in the construction and infrastructure markets. Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and mentor a high performing sales team without directly managing them to ensure they are working to national as well as local strategies

- Manage key customers in the state whilst developing and executing market development plans

- Generate and present multi million dollar tenders

- Embed a high performing, inclusive culture that puts safety and the customer first

Your Background

- Sales Management experience, preferably within the building products or wider industrial markets

- Excellent commercial acumen with proven key customer and leadership achievements

- Proven experience winning large tenders within the construction and infrastructure markets

- Team focussed with a passion for helping people achieve career success
