Join our award winning team as a Customer Experience Officer and be the first point of contact for our community. In this part-time, Monday – Friday, 12pm-5pm 25-hour role, you/'ll provide exceptional service through phone, email, webchat, and face-to-face interactions. Every day is unique, with a diverse range of tasks to tackle, from answering customer queries to registering work requests and applications. We value strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple channels with ease. Your contributions will help us elevate the customer experience and drive positive outcomes for Dubbo Regional Council

You’ll make an impact by:

- Being the vital link between our organisation and our valued customers, ensuring effective communication and support

- Executing customer service tasks in alignment with established procedures to optimise the operation of the Customer Experience Centre

- Staying current with Council's services, products, and activities to provide accurate and valuable information to customers

- Demonstrating an understanding and grasp of Council's policies, procedures, and codes to maintain compliance and uphold high standards

- Proactively identifying and addressing customer dissatisfaction, promptly escalating issues using established customer experience protocols

- Cultivating strong customer relationships through engaging with customers through multiple communication channels.

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

- Certificate III in Office/Business Administration or a relevant discipline or above

- Relevant experience in customer service delivery in a high volume environment

- Well-developed communication skills, computer literacy and ability to complete accurate data entry

- High level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks with competing deadlines

- High level of flexibility, adaptability and versatility to handle multiple diverse tasks across Omni-channels

We would also love you to have:

- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in process, practice and technology

- Well-developed conflict resolution skills

This position offers an attractive hourly salary ranging from $37.10 to $43.11
