Manager, Technology Vendor Management

As the Manager, Technology Vendor Management, you will provide the financial, vendor management and procurement leadership across Great Southern Bank’s Technology team. As part of the Technology Engineering & Operations team you will work with our key technology systems, partners and vendors that provide Core Banking, Home lending and Open Banking services.

This is a hybrid role based in Brisbane, offering the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

You’ll make an impact by

- Manage a portfolio of vendors and business partners to support the achievement of our strategic and business outcomes.
- Managing the Technology Engineering & Operations financial performance and controls.
- Responsible for the management and financial performance of the technology (BAU) contract portfolio.
- Develop, align and execute Partnerships business plan that articulate key initiatives, objectives and targets to deliver valuable outcomes.
- Use your presence, communication and presentation skills to represent Technology Engineering & Operations with key stakeholders and team members.
- Responsible for the performance of the relationship and for identifying opportunities to improve our partnership framework.
- Provide financial, vendor management and procurement subject matter expertise and consultancy across the business.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Minimum Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology or similar.
- 7+ years’ experience in a role with a focus on leading prominent enterprise level relationships.
- 7+ years IT leadership experience.
- Demonstrated relationship management, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated strategic and tactical thinking with the ability to apply commercial and financial principles in order to make sound strategic business decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
- Knowledge of contemporary financial management, vendor management and technology procurement practices.
- The ability to influence and build relationships with senior managers and executives.
