**About the role**

We're looking for an **IT Vendor Manager** with experience in high-value, high-risk transformation projects to help us manage key vendor relationships at Australian Retirement Trust (ART). In this role, you will support the Business Unit Head by developing, implementing, and maintaining the frameworks, processes, and templates that ensure effective governance and management of key vendor relationships.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Provide highly valued strategic consulting level advice, guidance and support to business leaders and teams in relation to IT procurement functions.
- Develop and implement procurement management governance, frameworks and plans to support effective governance and management of key IT vendors and contracts.
- Build productive long-term relationships with key IT vendors to facilitate deep understanding of their strategic direction, product and service roadmaps.

- Demonstrated experience in similar roles within a complex business environment.
- Experience developing relationship with stakeholders and influencing, identifying and managing key issues and challenges.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate client business plans and goals into IT capabilities needed to achieve results.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and issues in a way non-technical people can understand.
- Strong written and negotiation skills and proven experience in reporting for use by an Executive audience.
