Educational Technologies Adoption Manager

We are seeking an Educational Technologies Adoption Manager to join the Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division. The Educational Technologies Adoption Manager leads and coordinates the management and adoption of key learning and teaching technologies, aligned with QUT's strategic objectives. The role's primary focus is maximizing the adoption of learning and teaching technologies that support engaging student experiences and academic practice. This position works in partnership with the Director, Learning Innovation and Design, Curriculum Design Studio teams, the QUT Academy for Learning and Teaching, and staff in Digital Business Solutions. The role is offered as a hybrid position as part of QUT's commitment to a more virtual and connected world.

What You Need To Succeed
  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications, with extensive experience in implementing and managing relevant learning and teaching technology applications in the tertiary education sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships, engage in co-design activities, and promote a client-centred, quality-focused approach to the implementation and use of technologies in a complex pedagogical environment.
  • Proven organizational skills and extensive experience in project, vendor and stakeholder management, including submissions, reports and other complex documents.
  • Demonstrated leadership in implementing institutional strategies for innovation in higher education and a track record of driving best practice in the use of technology in learning and teaching at an institutional level.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with proven negotiating experience to positively influence learning and teaching practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyse current trends and future developments in teaching practice and the application of contemporary technology in the tertiary education sector.
