Senior Infringement Officer
Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency
Details: Do you like living in a clean and safe Canberra? Do you want to have a positive impact on the community you live in?
If you answered yes, then we have an exciting 6-month temporary opportunity for you as the Senior Infringement Officer within City and Environment Directorate’s (CED) City Services Licensing and Compliance (L&C) unit.
As the Senior Infringement Officer, you will lead the Infringement Management Team which is a part of the Investigations Enforcement Team which is responsible for investigating breaches of legislation enforced by CED under relevant legislation including, the Public Unleased Land Act 2013, Litter Act 2004, Urban Forest Act 2023, Trespass on Territory Lands Act 1932, and the Uncollected Goods Act 1996. Supervising and providing advice and support to the infringement management officers and other compliance officers on rotation through the infringement management team, you will need to be able to work as part of a team and provide clear direction and leadership where required.
