We are here to lead change and are committed to empowering better financial futures for more Australians.**Benefits and Life at HUB24**Learn more about our employee benefits**Job Summary:**As a Privacy & Data Risk Analyst, you will be part of a team of risk management and compliance subject matter experts helping to ensure that all relevant risks (including regulatory compliance risks) are captured and considered and remain within Risk Appetite. You will bring your subject matter expertise to identify, assess, mitigate and report on privacy and data risks, whilst maintaining a practical appreciation for the commercial needs of the business.**Responsibilities:*** Provide support to the Privacy & Data Risk Manager to ensure full compliance with Australian regulations related to privacy and data.* Provide advice on privacy law and regulatory reforms and apply subject matter expertise to assist with privacy-related enquiries.* Provide ongoing enhancement of privacy and data governance policies and guidelines, training modules, and other relevant policies.* Support the business to identify, assess and mitigate the privacy and data governance risks associated with the use of emerging technologies such as generative AI.* Develop and conduct training across the HUB24 Group, to improve privacy and data governance awareness.* Provide support and advice on projects and other business initiatives from a privacy and data governance perspective, including conducting privacy impact assessments.* Oversee data and privacy incident detection systems, tools, and data analytics to proactively identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risk exposure for HUB24 and its clients, shareholders, and stakeholders.* Develop and maintain high quality and informative /insightful reporting for Boards/Board Committees and the executive.**Requirements:*** Professional qualifications in either: Law, Finance, Commerce, or similar discipline with a minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in privacy and data risk management (preferably within the financial services sector).* Specialist qualifications data and/or privacy management and risk management.* Good knowledge of the regulation of data and privacy in Australia.* Clear and concise communication skills.* Analytical skills and ability to interpret information.**The Recruitment Process*** Acknowledgement email once your application has been submitted.* Our Talent team will start reviewing your application.
