We aim to do this efficiently and conveniently, leveraging state of the art technology and data solutions.The Senior Data and AI Enablement Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust data and AI governance with data quality practices across the organisation. The Senior Data and AI Enablement Analyst will work to develop standards and controls to ensure AI governance, data quality, accuracy, and compliance and to champion best-practice data management across the organisation.Responsibilities:* Lead collaboration with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and subject matter experts to drive and uphold Data Governance and AI policies, processes, and controls.* Develop and promote innovative methods that enhance data culture, integrating risk management with business value* Assist SMEs to define and enhance data and AI control environments* Support Data Owners and Data Stewards on their data governance journey, ensuring metadata and lineage are complete, up-to-date, and easily accessible* Assist with compliance activities such as data protection, data privacy and records risk management* Collaborate with teams to identify and implement improvements that will prevent the recurrence of data quality issues and reduce the likelihood of new ones arising in the future* Lead the development, review and implementation of a data quality program of work, including profiling of existing data assets, defining data quality rules and standards reporting* Drive the adoption and execution of our AI and agile governance frameworksQualifications we would love to see in our next Senior Data and AI Enablement Analyst* Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, information management or similar discipline* At least 5 years of experience in a data governance or similar role, ideally in a regulated environment* Experience with Informatica Data Management Cloud* Demonstrated experience managing audit, risk, and compliance-related activities.* Strong knowledge of data and AI governance frameworks and methodologies* Experience with programming languages (e.g. SQL, Informatica, DBT) and/or data visualisation tools* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills* A natural ability to engage with and influence diverse teams and stakeholders* Able to work independently yet collaboratively, and always as part of a team* Detail and quality-oriented* Strong time management and organisational skillsAt Helia, we are building a team focused on opportunities: creating brighter futures for our people.
